Confirmed

Ketlen Vieira was suspended for six months after a failed drug test following her PFL debut loss to Cris Cyborg in August, and Vieira confirmed it to MMA Fighting after a Sherdog report. The suspension is retroactive to the date of the fight, so she can fight again on March 22, 2027, MMA Fighting reports. In a statement, Vieira said she took medication for a knee injury after leaving the UFC and did not use it to gain an advantage in the fight. Bloody Elbow carried the same account.

Ismael Bonfim confirmed in an Instagram video that his UFC run is over, Bloody Elbow reported on Tuesday, after MMA Fighting reported on Monday that he had been removed from the roster. He missed weight by 7.5 pounds before UFC Vegas 122 and was stopped in round one by Francisco Prado. "It's not the end," Bonfim said in the video, as translated by Bloody Elbow, and he thanked the UFC for five years. We found no UFC statement.

Zuffa Boxing announced that WBC middleweight champion Carlos Adames has signed a multi-fight contract. Adames, 32, is 25-1-1 with 18 knockouts, and The Ring ranks him No. 1 at middleweight, per the announcement. His debut is to be announced shortly.

Bloody Elbow's rankings report covers the same changes. The page is labelled with an Oct. 10 update date.

Reported, not yet official

Islam Makhachev is reportedly set to defend the welterweight title against Carlos Prates at UFC 336 on Jan. 30 in Toronto. Bloody Elbow cites a post on X by reporter Alvaro Colmenero, who wrote that the fight is expected if negotiations continue on their course. There is no UFC announcement, and we found no second outlet giving that date or venue. MMA Fighting reports that Prates has said he has an agreement in place with the UFC to fight Makhachev next, pending a date and location.
