Best get-up in the UFC: escaping takedowns

What it measures. Opponent control seconds per opponent takedown landed (lower = back up faster). Lower is better. Formula. Seconds the opponent spends in control of the fighter, divided by takedowns the opponent landed on the fighter. Lower is better: back on their feet faster. Minimum sample. Career: at least 5 fights and 5 opponent takedowns landed. Last five: at least 3 fights and 3 opponent takedowns landed. The Sample column is the amount behind each figure (opponent takedowns landed). A fighter below the minimum is not ranked and does not appear here; the figure is still shown, greyed, on their own page. Order. The table follows the published rank, which for rate stats is computed from a confidence-adjusted score rather than the raw figure, so the values can sit slightly out of order. The value shown is always the raw figure. Last bout and Active. The date of the fighter's most recent fight in this data. Active means a bout in the last 18 months. Coverage. Every figure is built from UFC fights that have round-by-round data. Some older bouts do not, and are left out rather than estimated. Check us. Rebuilt from the official UFC statistical record on every build; nothing on this page is typed in by hand. Search every fight to filter the same record yourself.
